The protection of your personal data is a major concern of ours. The University for Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU) places great emphasis on protecting the privacy of the users of its website. For that reason BOKU processes data exclusively in compliance with the GDPR and the Austrian Data Protection Act [Datenschutzgesetz/DSG]. This is why we are informing you in the following about which data we collect when you visit our website and for what purposes we process and use it.

COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL DATA

The GDPR, inter alia, provides for extended information requirements in regard to the processing of personal data. In fulfilment of those obligations (in particular Art 13 GDPR) we are hereby informing you about the processing of your personal data carried out by us on the basis of the registration.

We will process the Data provided by you voluntarily within the online registration. You are under no obligation to participate in our event. The disclosure of your Data is voluntary. The processing of your Data is carried out for the above-mentioned purpose on the basis of the consent given by you within the participation in the online event. The consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future and without any adverse consequences for you. Upon revocation of consent we will, from this time, no longer process your Data for the above-mentioned purpose and, in particular, delete any Data (still) stored.

DISCLOSURE OF COLLECTET DATA

Data will not be processed to any other persons or entities. The data is collected and processed for registration and organization of the event. In particular, name and contact details (E-Mail) as well as information on the employment relationship will be processed for the implementation of the event. We process your data only as long as it is necessary for the planning and final implementation of the event.

Generally, you have a right to request from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna access to and rectification or erasure of your Data or restriction of processing concerning you or to object to processing as well as the right to data portability.
